Statement
"My work mostly deals with exploring rural environments and documenting
the people who choose to live in these out-of-the-way areas. I am most
concerned with describing a place through a series of photographs instead
of with a singular image. I've photographed projects about Dutch Harbor
(Alaska), The Big Bend region of Texas, NASCAR culture and places and
things I've seen during various road trips. I am currently working on
a body of work that depicts Alaska's fishing communities."
