Biography
Lane Collins was born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina, where she
began taking pictures as a teenager. She went on to study photography
at the San Francisco Art Institute, where she graduated with a Bachelor
of Fine Arts in 2005. After graduation, Lane spent over two years in
New Zealand seeking inspiration and adventure. Her recent photographs
explore the worlds we create in our minds. She is currently living and
working in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
