Just early in the afternoon the snowing started: some small white drops of
white water, which in a few minutes were real snow as never seen in the past
many years. Not stopping until the next morning. Milan wake up for Christmas
day fully white. I did’nt know if I had to be happy or preoccupied: it
couldn’t be a coincidence.
TWENTY DAYS BEFORE
“Daddy, when is Santa Klaus arriving?”
“my little boy - Steven, three years old - was living the
Christmas tale for his first time. The year before he was only two years old,
thence too small to understand and remember. But being now three, he could
realize what was going on having a better taste of what living is.
“just a few days are missing. He has surely left his home on his sledge.
The trip is quite long. He will need almost three weeks to arrive”
“how can he arrive with the sledge: there is no snow here!”
“You have not to worry. I’ll take care of it. On Christmas eve I
will manage to have a big snowing, so that Milan will be under the snow and he
will have no problem to land”
As from that day Steven was telling to all his friends that his daddy would
have arranged for a big snowing over Milan on Christmas. Well, really on
Christmas Eve.
“Why you make such a kind of promises?” was shouting my wife Tiziana
to me “can you imagine the delusion he will face when no snow will be
here on Christmas day?”
“Why you don’t trust me? If I said I’ll get Milano under
snow, you can bet it will snow”
Even in my office I told to everybody “you know this is not the first
time I succeed. When I say there will be snow on Christmas Eve, well exactly on
the afternoon of Christmas Eve, until Christmas day morning, you can bet I'll
be right. You can be my witness”

The story on the web continues with many many other examples of similar situations, so that I can say that I strongly believe that we can really choose about our life!
