Sophie Gerrard was born
in Edinburgh in 1978. She studied Environmental Sciences at Manchester
University and, after working for a time as an environmental consultant,
returned to Edinburgh to study photography at Edinburgh College of Art.
Her interest in documenting environmental issues lead to an MA in Photojournalism
and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication in
2006. Sophie lives and works both from London and Edinburgh.
