"I am a photographer (BFA '89, MFA '91) and a Professor of Photography at the College of Southern Nevada. In addition to teaching, I am co-director of The Image Gallery, which specializes in the visual experience of still photography, moving images and experimental imagery. My photographic background began with silver gelatin printing. From there, Xerox and Polaroid became a passion on the way to the digital frontiers of today. I believe in the strong tradition of technique. Yet great photographs speak -- they speak to the viewer, and this is what drives me to create work."

"I received a Nevada Arts Council Fellowship for 2009 and an Ohio Arts Council individual artist grant in 2001. This past year I have shown at the Marji Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico; Space 237 in Toledo, Ohio; Peninsula Art Academy in Peninsula, Ohio; Left of Center Gallery in Las Vegas, Nevada; and The Springs Preserve in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am represented by Marji Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Brett Wesley Gallery, Las Vegas, Nevada."

"I moved to Nevada in 2004 from Ohio. Shooting in Las Vegas has propelled my image-making forward faster than at any other time in my career. Fromthe bleak to the glitz, the scape is ever changing; My images from straight to composite speak of the duality found in any urban environment, - Las Vegas is the ultimate home of reinvention."
